Who Am I?
On a cold and windy night on February 3, 1994 Kelsie Smith was born! I am fourteen years old and am in the ninth grade at Athens Academy. I enjoy school, sometimes, I just wish we didn't have to take tests! I have four family members, my mom (Loretta Smith), my dad (Walter Smith), my sister (Kellie Smith). I love my mom and dad, and my sister can be very annoying at times but I guess I love her too. I am 5 feet and 1 inch tall. It's a terrible height! I'm always wishing I was taller, but it helps to be short because I get to be a flyer when we do stunts in cheerleading. That's always fun! I love music! I'm also singing a song that's stuck in my head. I played the piano for five years, but now I only know how to play one song, "Ode to Joy." Now I'm learning how to play the guitar, but I've been playing for about 5 months so I don't really know any songs yet. I really like performing. I took ballet for 7 years, and it was a very important part of my life. I've been in a few plays and I always have a good time. I can't fully answer the question about who I am because I'm still learning about myself and the things I like to do.

Songs
"Outside Looking In"
You don't know my name
you don't know anything about me
I try to play nice
I want to be in your game
The things that you say
You may think I never hear about them
But word travels fast
I'm telling you to your face
I'm standing here behind your back
[Chorus:]
You don't know how it feels
To be outside the crowd
You don't know what it's like
To be left out
And you don't know how it feels
To be your own best friend on the outside looking in
If you could read my mind
You might see more of me than meets the eye
And you've been all wrong
Not who you think I am
You've never given me a chance
[Chorus:]
You don't know how it feels
To be outside the crowd
You don't know what it's like
To be left out
And you don't know how it feels
To be your own best friend on the outside looking in
Well, I'm tired of staying at home
I'm bored and all alone
I'm sick of wasting all my time
[Chorus (x2):]
You don't know how it feels
To be outside the crowd
You don't know what it's like
To be left out
And you don't know how it feels
To be your own best friend on the outside looking in
You don't know how it feels
To be outside the crowd
You don't know what it's like
To be left out
And you don't know how it feels
To be your own best friend on the outside looking in
I really like the lyrics to this song, and I think everyone can probably relate to it. There's probably been a time when you felt left out of a group, or when you felt like people made an opinion about you before they got to know you. This song is for all those people out there who have ever felt this way.
